ASSIGNMENT: use knowledge of social media to independently curate a digital strategy that will be an integral part of brand launch
EXECUTION: build an effective strategy to enhance brand presence and curate a loyal following on social platforms. deliver mock content, a sample editorial calendar and example case study. use approach to inspire website copy and brand manifesto that reinforces tone and identity of the brand.
in addition to what you see here, I also created a brand comparison to analyze how different brands are using the suggested platforms, included a detailed run down of how these platforms are used and shared suggestions for how to curate a following on social platforms to demonstrate how these efforts should be maintained over a longer period of time.
CHALLENGE: modernize social media strategy to appeal to a new target audience and attract young professionals.

EXECUTION: utilizing the #kinfolk and #kinfolkmagazine hashtags on instagram, I connected with other kinfolk readers worldwide in an effort to collect a variety of different recipes. using tumblr, I created a blog to compile my findings, while creating a place for people to digitally connect with one another.

CAMPAIGN: a mock campaign for gay pride month (june) that conveys american apparel's support of the lgbtq community.
EXECUTION: created a series of print ads to show what american apparel pride looks like the brand's minimalist aesthetic and american apparel retail products. designed customized shopping bags for customers in gay friendly cities for the month of june + woven bags with similar design to be handed out at gay pride parades.
